Rosie Perez will return to 'The View,' says co-host Rosie O'Donnell

NEW YORK, Jan. 15 (UPI) -- Rosie O'Donnell has emphatically denied media reports claiming her co-host Rosie Perez is leaving The View after only four months.

On Thursday's edition of the talk show, O'Donnell gave viewers an update on her missing co-stars Perez and Whoopi Goldberg.

"Whoopi is resting her back and will be back next week on Tuesday. Yay, yay, yay! Her back is healing, thank the Lord above," she explained.

"And no matter what you read anywhere, Rosie Perez is also coming back after she is done rehearsing her play. Her play -- the new Larry David play that she is starring in -- opens soon and then she will be back here at her job. Regardless of what you hear on other shows or read in magazines, as I did last night at 11:40 and went..." O'Donnell said, mouthing the words, "What the...?"
