May 14 (UPI) -- Jon Gosselin paid a special visit to son Collin in honor of his 14th birthday.
The 41-year-old television personality and DJ went to see Collin, one of his sextuplets with ex-wife and Kate Plus 8 star Kate Gosselin, on Saturday with daughter Hannah.
Jon Gosselin shared a rare photo with Collin on Instagram. The picture shows Jon, Collin and Hannah smiling for the camera before they enjoy pizza and birthday cake.
"Glad I could celebrate my son Collin's 14th birthday with him and his sister," he captioned the post.
Jon and Kate Gosselin, who split in 2009 after 10 years of marriage, share sextuplets Collin, Hannah, Aaden, Alexis, Joel and Leah, and 17-year-old twins Cara and Mady. Kate Gosselin said in August 2016 that Collin has "special needs" and is enrolled in a program away from home.
"[He] needs to learn certain strategies to help him deal with things," she told People.
Jon Gosselin later said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight that Kate refused to tell him where Collin was being treated.
"No one knows where he is," he said. "Kate says Collin is in a special school for special needs kids with behavioral problems."
Jon Gosselin celebrated with Hannah on the sextuplets' official birthday Thursday, but didn't appear to see any of his other children. He previously said on The Steve Harvey Show he rarely sees all of his kids at once.
"I haven't seen all of my kids together in about three years," the star said. "I only get what I get ... whoever comes down the driveway, that's who I get."
