Sawar is seen getting to the bottom of the crash by using a machine that can access the memories of witnesses who say they don't remember anything that happened.

"Memories can be subjective," she says. "They may not be totally accurate, and they're often emotional."

The episode titled Crocodile from writer Charlie Brooker and directed by John Hilcoat, will be the first episode of Season 4.

"Crocodile is a beautiful, more personal study. It's set in Iceland which introduced a totally new palette - one of the privileges of doing Black Mirror is the opportunity to create different worlds and moods and tones," producer Annabel Jones said about the episode in an interview with The Independent.

"It's a film set in the near future where your memories are no longer private so they can be dredged - sometimes in helpful ways."
