How to watch: Shemar Moore, Anna Chlumsky announce Emmy nominations

July 13 (UPI) -- Veep star Anna Chlumsky and Criminal Minds alum Shemar Moore are scheduled to announce the nominees for the 69th Emmy Awards in Los Angeles Thursday morning.

The Emmys honor excellence in television.

Television Academy Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Hayma Washington also plans to join Chlumsky and Moore at the nominations ceremony, which will stream live on Emmys.com. and on Facebook at 11:30 a.m.

"It has been an extraordinary year for television. The industry has never been more dynamic or inventive, and storytellers and content creators have never been more prolific," Washington said in a statement. "We are thrilled to have these two talented and respected performers join us in launching another exciting Emmy season."

Winners will be celebrated at a gala at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sept. 17, with Stephen Colbert serving as host.
