June 26 (UPI) -- First-time mom-to-be Jamie Otis celebrated at her baby shower over the weekend. The 30-year-old reality star was fêted by family and friends at a surprise party Saturday in Belmar, N.J., after announcing she's expecting a baby girl with husband Doug Hehner.

"I can't say 'thank you' enough to everyone who came to shower our sweet baby Hehner with love & gifts. I am so overwhelmed with emotions .... I feel so blessed to have such lovely ladies in my life," Otis captioned a photo on Instagram from the bash.
"BIGGEST thank you EVER to my amazing in laws!!! They put together this whole #babyshower & surprised me! I feel beyond #BLESSED and it makes my heart SO happy to know our little girl is already so loved," she added. "Best day ever!"
Otis and Hehner married in 2014 after meeting on the FYI series Married at First Sight. The couple announced Otis' pregnancy in February following a miscarriage, and later confirmed they're expecting a daughter in August.
"I've always wanted to have that mother-daughter relationship that I kind of missed out on with my mom," Otis told People in April. "I secretly hoped to be a mommy to a little girl and to have a little mini me."
"Every one of my guy friends say there is this unexplained special bond that happens with a daughter," Hehner added. "They don't know what it is, but it's an amazing feeling, and I cannot wait."
Otis came to fame on The Bachelor Season 16 before starring on Married at First Sight. She and Hehner have since appeared on Married Life, Married at First Sight: Unfiltered and Married at First Sight: The First Year.
