March 29 (UPI) -- TLC has announced it is reviving its re-decorating docu-series Trading Spaces.

The show originally ran on the cable network 2000-08. It featured two teams making over a room in each other's houses, under the guidance of professional designers and on a budget of $1,000.

Carpenters and television personalities Carter Oosterhouse and Ty Pennington frequently appeared on the series to help out with projects. Paige Davis hosted most of the episodes.

"TLC is back into home and property with Nate and Jeremiah by Design, our new show helping distressed homeowners turn disasters into dream homes" TLC President and General Manager Nancy Daniels said in a statement. "We are thrilled to expand in this space, and what better way to do that than to bring back Trading Spaces, the series that put property on the map."

No air-date or cast has been announced yet.
