March 29 (UPI) -- Monica Horan is to reunite with her one-time Everybody Loves Raymond co-star Patricia Heaton on an upcoming episode of Heaton's sitcom The Middle.

"After being reminded that Brick was never confirmed, Frankie and Mike send him to Rev. TimTom's Wilderness Jesus Jam weekend camp to brush up on his religious knowledge in preparation for the blessed event," an ABC synopsis of the April 11 episode of The Middle explains. "But Brick is shocked to discover that his bunkmate is no other than Blake Ferguson -- the boy he was switched at birth with and raised by his parents for the first month of his life."

Horan will play Blake's mom.

Charlie McDermott, who plays Axl on the show, directed the episode. The sitcom co-stars Neil Flynn as Mike, Eden Sher as Sue and Atticus Shaffer as Brick.

Heaton and Horan played sisters-in-law Debra and Amy on Raymond, a sitcom that ran nine seasons, 1996-2005. The Middle, which began airing in 2009, is in its eighth season.

Horan is not the first Raymond alum to appear on The Middle, however. Ray Romano and the late Doris Roberts have also been guest stars.
