Troupe dancer Alan Bersten will replace Chmerkovskiy as Morris' partner on Monday's episode. Chmerkovskiy will still appear on the show to cheer on the 30-year-old Glee alum from the sidelines.

"Tough show for #teamMaksimumHeat and @heatherrelizabethh would have to hold it down for both of us. Please show her your love and support," the dancer wrote on Instagram. "#DidNotSeeThisComing #WillBeBackBetterThanEver."

"Will be missing @MaksimC tonight, but you better believe I'm still bringing the heat with @Dance10Alan in the meantime #TeamMaksimumHeat," Morris added on Twitter.

Chmerkovskiy and Morris earned a 28 out of 40 in week 1 with their Viennese waltz to "Make Something Beautiful" by Ben Rector. The actress told Us Weekly after the performance that she "really enjoyed" herself.

"I felt like it was so interesting, the dynamic in the dressing room with everybody, just how supportive everybody was, and how welcoming everyone was to each other," she said.
