Feb. 28 (UPI) -- Ed Sheeran joined Jimmy Fallon and the Roots for The Tonight Show's classroom instruments sketch Monday night. The group plays xylophones, bang sticks and shake tambourines while Sheeran uses a banana shaker and sings his hit "Shape of You."

The British singer-songwriter is the latest star to participate in the popular sketch. Adele, Motley Crue, Mariah Carey, Idina Menzel and One Direction have also performed with the Tonight Show crew with classroom instruments.
