HBO's 'The Leftovers' will return for final season in the spring

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 7 (UPI) -- HBO show The Leftovers will return for Season 3 in April 2017. The show's creators, Tom Perotta and Damon Lindeloff posted a message for fans on Twitter with the news on Tuesday.

This will be the third and final season for the show which stars Justin Theroux, Carrie Coon, Regina King, Amy Brenneman, Liv Tyler, Kevin Carroll, Christopher Eccleston, Scott Glenn, Lindsay Duncan, Jovan Adepo, Janel Moloney, Margaret Qualley, Jasmin Savoy-Brown, and Chris Zylka.
