LOS ANGELES, Dec. 5 (UPI) -- Actress Zoe Perry is to play a recurring role for Season 6 of the Washington-set, prime-time soap opera Scandal.
TV Guide said few details about the character and how long Perry will play it have been revealed.

The Hollywood Reporter also confirmed the casting news.
Perry's father Jeff plays Cyrus Beene on the popular show. Her real-life mother is Roseanne alum Laurie Metcalf.
Zoe Perry's screen credits include Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Cold Case and Law & Order: Criminal Intent. She made her Broadway debut in 2013 in The Other Place opposite her mother.

The new season of Scandal is to begin Jan. 19 on ABC. The show stars Kerry Washington and Tony Goldwyn.
