Former 'Young and the Restless' actor Corey Sligh arrested for child molestation

CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga., Nov. 15 (UPI) -- Corey Sligh, who had a small recurring role on the daytime soap The Young and the Restless, was arrested last month and charged with child molestation.

Sligh was arrested in Cherokee County, Georgia on Oct. 14 for allegedly molesting a girl younger than 10. He posted bail and was released the same day.

Sligh reportedly knew the victim, whose parents reported the molestation on Sept. 24.

Sligh also appeared in the web series All About Lizzie and was an extra in God Is Dead.
