ATLANTA, Nov. 3 (UPI) -- Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey swears she'll never marry again.

The 49-year-old reality star admitted in an interview with Us Weekly that she's "just not wife material" following her split from husband Peter Thomas.

"I was in love with Peter, but I'm just not wife material. I will never be in a relationship again where it will take a lawyer for me to walk away. I will never marry again," she vowed.

Bailey confirmed in June that she and Thomas had separated after six years of marriage. The pair split following rumors that Thomas had cheated, but Bailey remains adamant that her husband was faithful.

"I will always love Peter and have his back," she told the magazine. "I believe with every ounce of oxygen and bone in my body that Peter never had sex with another woman."

Bailey said she and Thomas hope to finalize a settlement agreement by January before they officially file for divorce. The star had told E! News in July that she hopes the split won't get "ugly" because she "still loves" Thomas.

"It's as simple as that. I still root for him. I want him to win. I still love and support him. We are just not going to be married anymore," she said.

Bailey shares a 16-year-old daughter, Noelle Robinson, with ex-partner Leon Robinson. She joined The Real Housewives of Atlanta in Season 3 and will return on the Bravo show's Season 9 premiere Sunday.
