LOS ANGELES, Oct. 20 (UPI) -- Tom Cruise paid homage to some of his most iconic roles Wednesday alongside James Corden on The Late Late Show.

"Are you ready to do this?" Corden asked Cruise who was on hand to promote his latest film, Jack Reacher: Never Go Back.

"No, I'm not ready, but I'll do it," the actor replied before the duo began to act out famous scenes from throughout Cruise's storied career starting with Top Gun. "I feel the need. The need for speed," Corden and Cruise said together while wearing bomber jackets.

The pair then switched between scenes from Days of Thunder, Rain Man, Tropic Thunder, War of the Worlds and Minority Report before hitting all five of Cruise's Mission Impossible films that ended with Cruise hanging off the side of a plane as seen in the fifth installment.

Notably, when Cruise and Corden reached Jerry Maguire, the late night host was quickly replaced by Cuba Gooding Jr. to reprise his 1997 Oscar winning role and declare "Show me the money!"

The trip down memory lane then concluded with a performance of Cruise's iconic dancing scene from Risky Business.
