NEW YORK, Oct. 20 (UPI) -- Leslie Jones pleaded with Tom Hanks to tell her what outer space is like in the promo for this week's episode of Saturday Night Live, which Hanks is hosting.

Though Hanks tried to explain that he was never actually in outer space, Jones was persistent.

"Cold," Hanks responded, to which Jones said, "I knew it!"

In another skit Jones asks Hanks if, among his many accomplishments, he's ever been in love.

"Yeah," he replied, "I've been married 28 years!"

"That was not the question Tom Hanks," Jones said, as she applied a fresh layer of lipstick.

Saturday will mark the 10th time Hanks has hosted the sketch show. This week he will be joined by musical guest Lady Gaga.
