NEW YORK, Oct. 18 (UPI) -- Stephen Colbert, as Randy the Office Manager, sat down with President Obama to work on his resume and interview skills ahead of Obama's upcoming job search.

Colbert kicked off the mock interview by asking Obama why he hasn't been promoted in the last eight years.

"Honestly there wasn't a lot of room for advancement in my last job," Obama deadpanned. "The only one with a more powerful position was my wife."

Obama listed some of his accomplishments while in office and even took a jab at the birth certificate debate, with Colbert asking where Obama was born and if his current resume was the "longest form" available.

Obama also took every opportunity to remind people, especially Millenials, to vote on Nov. 8.

Colbert pointed out that since The Late Show was a network program, Obama couldn't openly endorse a candidate. Instead Colbert asked Obama to choose between two snacks.

"Would you care for an extra-fiber nutrient bar which has traveled to more than 100 countries, or this shriveled tangerine, covered in golden retriever hair, filled with bile, that I wouldn't leave alone with the woman I love?" Colbert asked.

"I think I'll go with the fiber nutrient bar," Obama replied.
