Erin Andrews to miss next two episodes of 'Dancing with the Stars'

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 26 (UPI) -- Erin Andrews will be absent this week from Dancing with the Stars in order to support her boyfriend, NHL star Jarret Stoll during a family tragedy.

Andrews' absence was confirmed by her DWTS co-host Tom Bergeron on Twitter Sunday, who noted, "My pal @ErinAndrews will be absent from @DancingABC this week to support @jarretstoll whose nephew passed away."

"Sending hugs and condolences," he continued.

In a separate tweet, Bergeron mentioned that he will be joined by another co-host for Tuesday's episode however, he will be left to anchor the dancing competition by himself on Monday.

"On Tuesday we'll have someone (as yet undetermined) filling in for Erin," he wrote in response to a fan's question.

Andrews has yet to comment on her absence from Dancing with the Stars or the death of Stoll's nephew.
