BEVERLY HILLS , Calif., July 27 (UPI) -- Netflix says it will begin streaming Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life on Nov. 25.

The revival of the iconic dramedy will feature four, season-themed, 90-minute chapters, which series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino executive produced, wrote and directed with Daniel Palladino.

The online service released a 90-second teaser trailer Wednesday, offering fans a glimpse of contemporary Stars Hollow and its inhabitants.

"Do you think Amy Schumer would like me?" Lauren Graham's character Lorelai wistfully wonders aloud while sitting at the kitchen table with her now-adult daughter Rory, who is played by Alexis Bledel.

"No," Rory deadpans.

"Why?" the crest-fallen mom demands. "It's not like I am perpetually armed or at sundown I turn into one of those vampires with no sense of humor or I have that plant strapped to me that only blooms every 50 years and smells disgusting."

"What plant?" Rory inquires.

"That plant; that plant people line up to see even though it smells like dead fish!" Lorelai responds, off on a tangent.

When Rory picks up her cell phone, Lorelai asks, "What are you doing?"

"Looking up that plant," Rory informs her mom.

"This is not a teachable moment. We are having a very serious conversation here," Lorelai snaps.

After Rory tells her the plant is called the corpse flower, Lorelai again questions why Amy Schumer wouldn't like her, prompting Rory to tell her Schumer loves water sports while Lorelai doesn't.

"Ooooh, no, that would not work at all," Lorelai agrees.

"Once a Gilmore always a Gilmore," reads the screen that follows the conversation and announces the show's return date.

The original Gilmore Girls series ran seven seasons 2000-07.
