LOS ANGELES, June 23 (UPI) -- Taylor Lautner is headed for Scream Queens Season 2.

Entertainment Weekly reported Lautner will play Cassidy Cascade, a doctor who becomes involved with Chanel #3 (Billie Lourd), now a hospital employee. Cassidy, who suffers from "a bizarre medical condition," becomes a suspect in a new wave of tragedies.

Fuller House star John Stamos was previously announced as Dr. Brock Holt, the hospital's "brilliant, but secretive, head surgeon." Lourd is returning alongside Emma Roberts, Abigail Breslin, Lea Michele and Jaime Lee Curtis.

"I think it'll be dark. I think it's going to be very dark," Curtis said of the new season to E! News in May."[There's] a lot of darkness in hospitals -- dark hallways, scary rooms, sharp objects, a lot of blood, disinfectants."

Scream Queens Season 2 will premiere Sept. 20. Lautner is best known for playing Jacob Black in the Twilight film series and has since portrayed Dale on the BBC Three sitcom Cuckoo.
