Will Arnett to host three-night telecast from San Diego Comic-Con

NEW YORK, June 19 (UPI) -- Actor Will Arnett has signed on to host the three-night telecast of Syfy Presents: Live From Comic-Con.

The special will broadcast from San Diego Comic-Con on the network July 21-23.

"We're so excited to have Will host our first-ever Syfy Presents: Live From Comic-Con," Heather Olander -- senior vice president of alternative series development and production for NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment, Entertainment Networks -- said in a statement.

"There is nobody more perfect to host this event than Will, who has created iconic roles for every part he plays, appealing to so many unique audiences. This year we're thrilled to be able to give viewers at home a live, real-time Comic-Con experience with Will at the helm."

Arnett, who most recently starred in the hit Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, will also be in San Diego promoting his eagerly anticipated Lego Batman movie.
