LOS ANGELES, May 26 (UPI) -- Anne Hathaway schooled Late Late Show host James Corden during the latest segment of Drop the Mic.

The actress walked onto the set Wednesday night in a boxer's robe and hat before ripping Corden apart in a skilled rap battle. Corden also scooped out his equal share of put-downs and disses.

"Your rhymes are like your ratings/ they are incredibly weak," Hathaway rapped in Corden's face. "They said don't quit your day job, but you really should/ I looked you up on IMDB, it said nothing good."

After a high-energy battle, which poked fun at Hathaway's career (and fake accents) and Corden's fame (or lack there of), the audience ultimately chose the former actress as the battle winner.

Hathaway appeared on The Late Late Show Wednesday to promote her latest film, Alice Through The Looking Glass. She stars as the White Queen alongside Mia Wasikowska as Alice, Johnny Depp as The Mad Hatter, and Sacha Baron Cohen as Time.
