LOS ANGELES, May 16 (UPI) -- The latest incarnation of The Rocky Horror Picture Show will air in October, just in time for Halloween, Fox announced Monday as it also released the first trailer for the project.

Billed as "a brand-new reimagining of the cult-classic midnight movie 40 years in the making," the 2-hour musical will feature Victoria Justice, Ryan McCartan and Laverne Cox as Janet, Brad and Dr. Frank-N-Furter, respectively.

Tim Curry -- who originally played Frank-N-Furter on the big screen -- will narrate the torrid tale, which follows a couple who "stumble upon flirtatious mad scientist Dr. Frank-N-Furter's bizarre abode during his annual Transylvanian science convention," a press release said.

Co-starring with Curry in the iconic, 1975 B-movie were Susan Sarandon and Barry Bostwick.
