Rosie Perez, Christine Taylor join cast of TBS mystery-comedy 'Search Party'

LOS ANGELES, May 5 (UPI) -- Rosie Perez, Christine Taylor, Ron Livingston and Parker Posey are to play recurring roles on TBS' upcoming mystery-comedy Search Party.

The cable-television network has also announced that Brandon Micheal Hall will be a regular on the series, which is slated to premiere in late 2016. The ensemble will be led by Alia Shawkat, John Early, John Reynolds and Meredith Hagner.

"Search Party is a dark comedy about four, self-absorbed 20-somethings who become entangled in an ominous mystery when a former college acquaintance named Chantal suddenly disappears," a synopsis said.

The series is executive-produced by Michael Showalter, along with Sarah-Violet Bliss and Charles Rogers.
