"Over the past year, we've propelled Hulu by adding an extraordinary array of original series, hit broadcast and cable shows and blockbuster movies to our content portfolio -- all of which has led to incredible growth," Hulu CEO Mike Hopkins said.

Hulu picked up The Mindy Project for Season 4 after Fox canceled the comedy. The company lauded series creator and star Mindy Kaling in the release, saying the show "has continued to garner acclaim and captivate fans on Hulu."

The Path, meanwhile, is a Hulu original series starring Aaron Paul and Michelle Monaghan that "has drawn acclaim from critics and fans." The drama airs new episodes Wednesdays and will complete its first season May 25.

Hulu also announced two new projects -- a Beatles documentary directed by Ron Howard and an election special with Triumph, the Insult Comic Dog, who is voiced by actor and comedian Robert Smigel.

Hulu will have exclusive streaming rights to The Beatles: Eight Days a Week, a sanctioned documentary, which opens in the fall. Triumph's Election Special will premiere "just in time for the election."
