LOS ANGELES, March 28 (UPI) -- Scrubs stars Zach Braff and Donald Faison reunited Sunday to celebrate Easter.

Braff, 40, and Faison, 41, enjoyed a festive celebration with co-stars John McGinley and Christa Miller. Miller shared a photo of the fête on Instagram, writing, "Happy Scrubs Easter! #family."

Braff and Faison played best friends J.D. Dorian and Christopher Turk on Scrubs, with McGinley as Perry Cox and Miller as Jordan Sullivan. Braff, Faison and McGinley previously reunited in December 2014.

Scrubs had an eight-season run on NBC from 2001 to 2008 before moving to ABC for a ninth and final season. The comedy follows the personal and professional lives of several employees at the fictional Sacred Heart hospital.

"I have no idea [why fans kept coming back]. But I'm so glad they did," Braff told TIME magazine in 2009.

"I mean, we always joke that no matter where they put the show -- whether it's Saturday morning after cartoons or after Carson Daly on weeknights -- no matter where they put it, the same audience followed us," the actor added.
