HOLLYWOOD, March 9 (UPI) -- "Clash of Clans" commercial creator Fletcher Moules will lead Sony's upcoming Ghostbusters animated movie.

While simultaneously producing a live-action, Paul Feig-helmed film reboot involving four women at the forefront, Sony announced late last year it will bring back the four male lead characters in a cartoon movie.

The Hollywood Reporter noted in its exclusive Sony's move to produce these two projects at the same time is similar to that DiC Enterprises did in the late 1980s with animated series The Real Ghostbusters.

The movie, meant for younger audiences, is meant to inspire young Ghostbusters fans as the studio plans a long-game of live-action sequels.

Director Moules, native to Australia, is known for creating animated advertisements for popular mobile game "Clash of Clans." He has also worked in the creature department for animated Star Wars flicks Attack of the Clones and Lego Star Wars: The Padawan Menace.
