NEW YORK, March 5 (UPI) -- SundanceTV has released a 60-second trailer for its upcoming, small-screen crime drama The Last Panthers, featuring the late David Bowie's haunting track "Blackstar."

The song will also be used in the show's main title sequence. Johan Renck, who directed all six episodes of The Last Panthers, helmed Bowie's video for "Blackstar" before the music icon died of cancer in January at the age of 69.

Set to premiere in the United States on April 13, the series "centers around an audacious jewelry heist in Marseilles, with all the trademarks of the infamous and recently dormant Pink Panthers gang," a synopsis teased.

The series stars Samantha Morton, Tahar Rahim, Goran Bogdan and John Hurt.
