Ginger Zee paired with Val Chmerkovskiy; Marla Maples rumored to compete on 'DWTS 22'

NEW YORK, March 4 (UPI) -- Good Morning America has confirmed rumors that its meteorologist Ginger Zee is to compete on Season 22 of Dancing with the Stars.

Zee, who gave birth to her first child in December, will be paired with longtime DWTS professional dancer Val Chmerkovskiy.

Brief video footage of the duo dressed up and dancing was released Friday.

Fuller House actress Jodie Sweetin, reality TV personalities Kim Fields and Nyle DiMarco, and The O.C. alum Mischa Barton were previously announced as contenders for Season 22, while Us Weekly quoted multiple sources as saying presidential candidate Donald Trump's ex-wife, Marla Maples, will also compete on the show, which returns March 21.
