NEW YORK, Feb. 26 (UPI) -- Raven-Symone has vowed to leave the United States if "any Republican gets nominated" for president.

The 30-year-old actress and television personality swore she will move her family to Canada while making an "election confession" on Thursday's episode of "The View."

"My confession for this election is if any Republican gets nominated, I'm going to move to Canada with my entire family," the star said. "I already have my ticket. I literally bought my ticket, I swear."

Raven-Symone said she'll "figure it out" when co-host Whoopi Goldberg pointed out she doesn't have Canadian citizenship. She also suggested co-host Candace Cameron Bure could help before Bure said her husband, who played for the Montreal Canadiens, isn't Canadian either.

Raven-Symone's declaration came just two days after ABC renewed The View for a 20th season. Interim showrunner Candi Carter will serve as executive producer, but Raven-Symone and her co-hosts' future with the talk show is uncertain.

"This season The View has once again been the very heart of the political conversation and cultural conversation in America," ABC News president James Goldston said.

"Candi and the team have worked tirelessly to make The View the place to be heard for an impressive roster of celebrities, politicians and people in the news," he added.

Raven-Symone joined The View as a permanent co-host in Season 18 after guest hosting the show several times. The actress is known for playing Bubbles in Disney Channel's The Cheetah Girls movies and the title character on That's So Raven. As a young child, she played Bill Cosby's step-granddaughter, Olivia Kendall, on The Cosby Show.
