LOS ANGELES, Feb. 12 (UPI) -- Vanessa Marano and Emily Kuroda have joined the Gilmore Girls revival.

The 23-year-old Switched at Birth star and 63-year-old Bold and the Beautiful alum will reprise Luke's daughter, April Nardini, and Lane's mom, Mrs. Kim, respectively.

Scott Patterson and Keiko Agena will return as Luke and Lane, with Alexis Bledel and Lauren Graham as Rory and Lorelai. Kelly Bishop will reprise Lorelai's mom Emily, with Matt Czuchry and Jared Padalecki as Rory's ex-boyfriends Logan and Dean.

Marano played April in Seasons 6 and 7, while Kuroda portrayed Mrs. Kim throughout the original WB/CW series' seven-season run. Many fans blamed April for Luke and Lorelei's breakup in Season 6, although the series finale appeared to hint at a reconciliation.

Marano has since played Eden Baldwin on The Young and the Restless and presently portrays Bay Kennish on Switched at Birth. Kuroda went on to play Rufang on Sequestered and Dr. Kimborough on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Netflix recently confirmed it will revive Gilmore Girls for a four-episode limited after months of rumors about a potential movie or continuation. Graham tweeted at the time, "It's time for me, and this jacket I stole in 2007, to return to work."
