Lee Majors to co-star in Season 2 of 'Ash vs. Evil Dead'

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Lee Majors is to play Ash's father and Ted Raimi his childhood best friend in Season 2 of Ash vs. Evil Dead, which will premiere later this year, Starz announced.

Majors is known for his work in TV's The Big Valley, The Six Million Dollar Man and The Fall Guy.

Raimi appeared in all three original Evil Dead movies. His additional feature film credits include Midnight Meat Train, Shocker, Born Yesterday, Patriot Games, Clear and Present Danger, The Grudge, Oz the Great and Powerful, as well as the Spider-Man series of films.

The sophomore season of the small-screen horror-comedy Ash vs. Evil Dead will feature 10 half-hour episodes. The cast includes Bruce Campbell in the role of Ash; Lucy Lawless as Ruby; Ray Santiago as Pablo and Dana DeLorenzo as Kelly.
