Ellen Burstyn, Cicely Tyson join 'House of Cards' for Season 4

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Netflix has released a minute-long trailer for Season 4 of its celebrated political drama House of Cards.

The upcoming episodes will see Kevin Spacey's U.S. President Francis Underwood and Robin Wright's Claire Underwood "whose characters have always been each other's' strongest allies, showing cracks in their relationship," a press release said. "In an election year, the stakes are now higher than ever, and the biggest threat they face is contending with each other."

Joining the ensemble for Season 4 are Ellen Burstyn, Cicely Tyson and Joel Kinnaman. The cast also includes Michael Kelly, Mahershala Ali, ​Jayne Atkinson, Neve Campbell, Derek Cecil, Nathan Darrow, Kim Dickens, Elizabeth Marvel, Dominique McElligott, Molly Parker and Paul Sparks.

The new season will be available for streaming March 4.
