LOS ANGELES, Feb. 2 (UPI) -- Michael Easton, who has played several characters on General Hospital, is heading back to the ABC soap opera.
The show's executive producer, Frank Valentini, confirmed the actor's return via social media Tuesday.
"Here's a #GHFanFeb surprise! Michael Easton is coming back to #GH!" Valentini tweeted, alongside a video of him running in to Easton in the cereal aisle of a grocery store and inviting him back to the daytime drama for "something great."
The 26-second clip did not offer many details, such as who the actor will be playing, but Easton does say, "See you in a couple of weeks!"
Easton, 48, most recently played Dr. Silas Clay on GH, but his character was killed off last summer. He previously portrayed John McBain, Caleb Morley, Fr. Michael Morley and Stephen Clay between the ABC daytime series and its spinoff Port Charles.
