NEW YORK, Jan. 29 (UPI) -- Larry David is to make his Saturday Night Live hosting debut Feb. 6, NBC said Friday.

The co-creator of Seinfeld and creator/star of Curb Your Enthusiasm was an SNL writer during the show's 10th season. He played Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders earlier this season, which is the sketch comedy program's 41st.

The 1975 will provide the musical entertainment the same night David hosts SNL.

Melissa McCarthy will guest star on the Feb. 13 edition of the show. This will be her fourth time as host. Kanye West will make his seventh appearance as musical guest that night.
