CBS orders five more episodes of 'Code Black'

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 27 (UPI) -- CBS says it has ordered five more episodes of its freshman medical drama Code Black.

Seeason 1 of the show will now consist of 18, one-hour installments.

Set in a busy hospital emergency room, the series stars Marcia Gay Harden, Bonnie Somerville, Raza Jaffrey, Luis Guzmán, Melanie Chandra, Harry M. Ford, Benjamin Hollingsworth and William Allen Young.
