Tina Fey, Amy Poehler to return to 'SNL' as guest hosts

NEW YORK, Nov. 17 (UPI) -- Saturday Night Live icons Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will return to the sketch-comedy series Dec. 19 as guest co-hosts, NBC announced Tuesday.

Featuring Bruce Springsteen as the evening's musical act, the episode will be the show's last live broadcast of the year.

In addition to being longtime friends, Fey and Poehler have also hosted the Golden Globe Awards ceremony together three times. They also both appeared on the recent SNL 40th anniversay special and co-starred in the big-screen comedy Baby Mama, as well as the upcoming Sisters.

Ryan Gosling will co-host the Dec. 5 edition of SNL when the musical guest will be Leon Bridges, while Chris Hemsworth will star in the Dec. 12 program featuring Chance The Rapper.
