'The Jim Gaffigan Show,' 'Impastor' renewed for second seasons at TV Land

NEW YORK, Sept. 1 (UPI) -- TV Land has ordered sophomore seasons of its comedy series The Jim Gaffigan Show and Impastor.

The renewal announcement was made Monday by Keith Cox, executive vice president of development and original programming for TV Land.

"We're really proud of these shows that represent the new TV Land," Cox said in a statement. "They have quality writing and great casts, and we're excited to move on to Season 2 for both."

The Jim Gaffigan Show chronicles "one man's struggle in New York City to find a balance between fatherhood, stand-up comedy and an insatiable appetite." It co-stars Ashley Williams. Adam Goldberg and Michael Ian Black.

Impastor is a dark comedy from Christopher Vane. It stars Michael Rosenbaum as Buddy Dobbs, "a slacker on the run from his gambling debt." The cast also includes Sara Rue, Mircea Monroe, Mike Kosinski and David Rasche.
