'Wonder Years' alum Danica McKellar joins judges' panel for Miss America pageant

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J., Aug. 31 (UPI) -- Actresss and author Danica McKellar has joined the celebrity judging panel for the 95th anniversary broadcast of the Miss America pageant, ABC said Monday.

McKellar is best known for her work on the classic sitcom The Wonder Years and recent participation on Dancing with the Stars.

She is joining a celebrity panel of Miss America judges that also includes Brett Eldredge, Taya Kyle, Kevin O'Leary, Amy Purdy and Zendaya. The competition is to take place Sept. 13 at Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall.

Hosting the event will be Chris Harrison and Brooke Burke-Charvet.
