ITV releases trailer for final season of 'Downton Abbey'

LONDON, Aug. 30 (UPI) -- A trailer for the sixth and final season of the beloved, costume drama Downton Abbey is now available online.

The early 20th century-set show will return to Britain's ITV, starting Sept. 20. The last episodes will premiere on America's PBS, beginning Jan. 3.

This weekend's preview clip features regular cast members Hugh Bonneville, Laura Carmichael, Jim Carter, Michelle Dockery, Joanne Froggatt, Sophie McShera, Maggie Smith and Penelope Wilton.

The minute-long video has gotten nearly 250,000 views since it was posted Saturday.

Created by Julian Fellowes, the show follows the lives of the wealthy Crawley family and the loyal servants who work for them at their country estate.
