NEW YORK, July 29 (UPI) -- Simon Pegg delighted fans by reprising drunk Ron Weasley on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday.

The 45-year-old English actor returned as an intoxicated version of the character in honor of Harry Potter's birthday. The fictional wizard will turn 35 years old July 31, according to Harry Potter lore.

Pegg stumbled onstage in Hogwarts robes while carrying a wand and bottle of Jack Daniels. "10 points to Gryffindor!" he declared after chugging the whiskey. "Weasley is our king! Weasley is our king!"

The actor previously played drunk Ron on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon in 2013. Rupert Grint portrayed the actual character in the Harry Potter movies, which are based on the book series by J.K. Rowling.

Pegg is known for playing Montgomery Scott in the Star Trek reboot films, and will return in Star Trek Beyond in 2016. The actor is also scheduled for Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens and Absolutely Anything, featuring the voice of late actor Robin Williams.
