MALIBU, Calif., June 26 (UPI) -- Caitlyn Jenner says she filmed I Am Cait to share her story with the world.

The 65-year-old reality star explained her motivation in a new promo for the E! series. The eight-part program will premiere July 26, and document Jenner's life as a transgender woman.

"People don't understand looking into the mirror and nothing seems right," she said in the preview. "Putting on clothes that you just really don't identify with. This is about getting to be who you really are."

"We're going to talk about everything," she teased. "We're going to do a lot of fun things for the first time. We're going to go shopping for the first time. Maybe even some boy stuff, like ride a motorcycle -- because girls do that, too!"

Jenner revealed she is transgender in an interview with Diane Sawyer in April, and made her public debut as a woman on the July cover of Vogue. President Barack Obama mentioned the issue at the Logo Trailblazer Honors ceremony Thursday.
