LOS ANGELES, May 23 (UPI) -- Sharon Osbourne's publicist says the British TV personality is suffering from extreme exhaustion and will take a one-month break from her co-hosting duties on The Talk to focus on her health.

People magazine reported the 62-year-old wife of rocker Ozzy Osbourne collapsed from mental and physical fatigue upon returning home to Los Angeles after a whirlwind trip to New York and Toronto.

The colorectal-cancer survivor was treated for pneumonia in March after undergoing hernia surgery.

"Sharon has been advised and has agreed to take a month hiatus to recover fully from these recent events," Osbourne's representative said. "Sharon would like to thank everyone at The Talk for granting her this time off and to all friends, family and others for their incredible support."
