LOS ANGELES, May 13 (UPI) -- James Corden and Susan Sarandon teamed up for a Themla & Louise parody, Tuesday night on The Late Late Show.

During the three-minute clip, the host took over Geena Davis's role as Thelma and offered three alternate endings with the original Louise actress sitting behind the wheel.

The iconic ending shows the two friends holding hands as they drive off a cliff. In this updated version, Corden and Sarandon can be seen bickering while free-failing in their Ford Thunderbird until they finally reach the bottom.

In the second alternative ending, the pair drive off he cliff, but land safely on the ground because of the new car shocks Louise recently purchased at a place called "Ed's Mufflers and Brakes." The scene then turns into an advertisement for the car shop.

During the last bit, the crash down took longer than expected, the host suggested the two kiss again, like in the original ending, and proceeded to put on lipstick, but Sarandon decided to get out of the moving car instead.

Last year, Sarandon took part in another late night ode to the film, when she recreated the famous Thelma and Louise selfie with Jimmy Kimmel.
