Nastia Liukin and Derek Hough eliminated in the 'Dancing with the Stars' semifinals

LOS ANGELES, May 13 (UPI) -- Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin and her professional partner Derek Hough were eliminated on Tuesday night's Dancing with the Stars semifinals results show.

Liukin earned perfect scores with both Hough and Sasha Farber on Monday's episode.

"I definitely wanted to make it to the finale, especially because last night was so great, to be able to dance with Derek again [after he recovered from his injury.] But I kind of thought last night was kind of like a magical night -- not just for us, but for everybody here," Liukin said Tuesday. "To be able to finish my experience with that dance meant a lot."

Going into next week's finals -- along with their professional partners -- are Noah Galloway, Riker Lynch and Rumer Willis. A winner will be announced May 19.
