'The Muppets' series releases first trailer

The revival series will be shot in a mockumentary style.

LOS ANGELES, May 12 (UPI) -- The Muppets series released a first trailer Tuesday.

The preview features Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear and more, and is presented in the show's mockumentary style. The program is being billed as a "more adult" series which will explore the Muppets' personal lives.

The Muppets were created by puppeteer Jim Henson in the 1950s, and last appeared on Muppets Tonight from 1996 to 1998. Randall Einhorn is directing the new show, which will air Tuesdays on primetime ABC come fall.
