LOS ANGELES, May 6 (UPI) -- Kendall Jenner was moved to tears when dad Bruce Jenner revealed he is transgender.

A preview for E! television special Keeping Up with the Kardashians: About Bruce sees Bruce Jenner discuss his transition with 19-year-old daughter Kendall Jenner and 30-year-old former stepdaughter Khloe Kardashian.

"He's the most amazing person I know," Jenner says of her father in the footage. "I couldn't ask for a better dad. He taught me how to ride a bike and be the tomboy that I am. Every single day ... he would drive us to school [and] he'd be the first one in line to pick us up."

After months of speculation, Bruce Jenner confirmed he is transgender in a 20/20 interview with Diane Sawyer broadcast April 24. The 65-year-old Olympian has not yet indicated he would prefer to be called by female pronouns.

"We all love and him and support him no matter what, but it is a hard adjustment," Kim Kardashian told E! News on Tuesday. "I think [the special will be] really informative for other families who are going through this. I think people will learn a lot and understand its OK to have every emotion."

"There is a learning curve, there is an adjustment period," she admitted. "And at the moment, when we were filming it was a period of time when it was first starting to happen and it was really raw and real for us, so some family members have a harder time and you just see our journey."

The About Bruce special will air part one May 17 at 9 p.m. ET, with part two to follow May 18 at 9 p.m. ET on E!. Keeping Up with the Kardashians returned for a 10th season in March, and airs new episodes Sundays at 9 p.m. ET.
