NEW YORK, March 29 (UPI) -- Action movie star and former pro wrestler Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson appeared in a White House-themed cold open for this weekend's edition of Saturday Night Live.

"After the actions of Rep. John Boehner [played by Taran Killam,] Sen. Ted Cruz [played by Bobby Moynihan] and Sen. Tom Cotton [played by Kyle Mooney] make him lose his cool, President Obama played by Jay Pharoah] turns into The Rock Obama [played by Dwayne Johnson,]" a synopsis of the sketch said.

"Don't be alarmed. The Rock Obama is much like Barack Obama: only larger and more violent. Now, where were we?" Johnson -- who morphed into a hulked-out version of Obama -- asked the terrified Republicans before tossing Killam's Boehner out of the Oval Office window, ripping off the hand of Mooney's Cotton and threatening to crush the head of Moynihan's Cruz.
