LOS ANGELES, March 7 (UPI) -- Homeland showrunner Alex Gansa says Season 5 of the drama series will take place in Europe about 2 1/2 years after Season 4 ended.

Gansa also divulged Claire Danes' character, CIA operative Carrie Mathison, "will no longer be an intelligence officer" when the show returns to Showtime in September.
