LOS ANGELES, Jan. 29 (UPI) -- NBC has ordered the pilot for the supernatural series "Strange Calls" for the 2015-2016 season.

The series will be an American version of the Australian show where a cop comes to a town and with the help of a night watchman, he realizes the town has a supernatural element. Shot on a single camera, it shows the cop dealing with the weird and comedic paranormal mishaps.
