Nick Jonas joins Fox series 'Scream Queens'

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 27 (UPI) -- Nick Jonas has joined the cast of Fox horror-comedy Scream Queens.

The 22-year-old singer will appear in an unspecified role with previously announced stars Emma Roberts and Jamie Lee Curtis. Lea Michele, Keke Palmer and Joe Manganiello are also confirmed for the anthology series.

Scream Queens hails from American Horror Story creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, and will debut a 15-episode first season in fall 2015. Season one will focus on a series of murders at a college campus.

Jonas is best known as a member of former boy band The Jonas Brothers, and released a second solo album, Nick Jonas, in November 2014. He currently stars as Nate Kulina on Audience Network series Kingdom, and was announced as a mentor for NBC reality competition The Voice last week.
